It discusses history taking, examination, interpretation of diagnostics and ancillary tests, patient counseling, and decision-making. The course is supported by case discussions and polls and concluded by guidelines. All sessions will be recorded and available in the Academy library for the attendees to watch the recorded sessions at their pace until the end of Module 1. At the end of the Module, the participants should sit for an exam to get the certificates.

    Module 2: Laser-based Refractive Surgery

    Over 30 hours of live sessions and interactive seminars covering pre-operative workup and diagnostics, essential principles, indications, contraindications, decision-making, safety calculations, and much more. Surgical techniques are discussed through educational videos. Standard and customized laser profiles are discussed in detail, including the topo-guided, wavefront-guided, phototherapeutic (PTK), presbyopic profiles, and enhancement strategies. The course is supported by case discussions and polls and concluded by guidelines.
    All sessions will be recorded and available in the Academy library for the attendees to watch the recorded sessions at their pace until the end of Module 2. At the end of the Module, the participants should sit for an exam to get the certificates.
